Since we began making pottery we've heard time and time again that people are interested in complete sets of dinnerware. We've made a few her and there but is a very tedious endeavor so we've been hesitant to invest our time in them until now.
Like everyone else we'd kind of like to see completed sets and we do enjoy the process despite its length. So we've taken the plunge and are hard at work assembling the pieces little by little to be able to play with various settings and styles.
This does mean that for a few weeks (or months) the kiln openings will be stacks of plates and bowls in repeated patterns and colors. The diversity will be lower and the excitement level on our part may, at first follow that trend...but the hope and intent is that when these sets begin to be complete a whole new excitement will be generated. We're sure we will love the results and can't wait to share them so just bear with us as the process unfolds.
There will certainly be some other adventures along the way but this portion of our little journey may seem a bit slow.
Be safe. See you soon!
